Bizdom U provides comprehensive, real-world training for aspiring entrepreneurs that have a burning passion and determination to build their own business. We believe the most promising business leaders of tomorrow need practical training, street smarts, a hunger for knowledge, and a drive to succeed with their own Detroit-based business.
Our one-year, part-time Bizdom U program provides students with practical business knowledge, from classes taught by seasoned business professionals. The intense, challenging program concludes with the development of a plan for a Detroit-based business by every student. Graduates will receive our facilitation in acquiring funding for the business described in their plan, a share of ownership in the business, and an opportunity to earn larger shares of ownership in the business over time.
Bizdom U is entirely tuition free. Headquartered in Detroit's Cultural Center, our state-of-the-art training facility also includes free housing (or a living stipend), free meals, and free use of cutting-edge business technologies like Blackberries and notebook computers for every student.
